It feels like forever since we were able to ride to or from school with the kiddo as a whole family unit. The forecast for day 8 of 30 Days of Biking called for thunderstorms this afternoon, but the ladies took a chance this morning and rode to school. I'm glad they did because I made it to the neighborhood just in time to join them for the ride home, which turned out to be sunny and beautiful:
We're in the process of getting a new bike for Faith, so she's still using her Mom's bike for now. Her Mom rode what we've designated as the family backup bike, the purple Breezer (otherwise known as the SheBeast) you can see in the middle:
I definitely made them pause so I could take this. Looks great, right? We thought about letting the kiddo ride the Breezer as her own temporarily, but the seat doesn't fit just yet. Like I said, she's definitely getting a new bike from the Easter Rabbit, so it's all about to be a moot point anyway. I'm so glad she's been excited about riding this month - 6 out of 8 days so far! Now if only she'd clean her room... :P
